Description

ClimateLineAir™ is heated air tubing that delivers the desired temperature at the mask and enables you to use Climate Control. It has an internal heated coil and mask temperature sensor that eliminates rainout in the hose when used with Climate Control in auto mode.

Rainout protection without compromise

With traditional humidification systems, as the temperature in the room drops, so does the temperature of the air inside the tube. At lower temperatures, the amount of water vapor that can be held by the air decreases, and condensation (rainout) can form in the tube.

The ClimateLine tube maintains the temperature of the air delivered to the patient. This ensures that rainout is avoided even if the temperature in the room drops during the night.

By keeping the air temperature in the tube constant, the Climate Control system can automatically adjust to changes in ambient conditions to maintain a constant, comfortable humidity level. Rainout is avoided without needing to reduce the humidity delivered.

Set and forget

Because the system measures temperature at the mask, the temperature you feel will remain at your preferred setting, regardless of changes in ambient temperature or humidity.

Smaller, slimmer, sleeker

The ClimateLine heated tube offers increased flexibility, more sleeping comfort and less mask drag.

NOTE: This tubing will ONLY work with the Airsense 10 Series CPAP Machines.

Product Features

Heated humidifier tube designed exclusively for the ResMed AirSense 10 series CPAP machines

Internal heated coil maintains air temperature along the full length of the tube to eliminate rainout

Mask-end temperature sensor measures temperature at the point of delivery for precise, set-and-forget comfort

Works with the AirSense 10's Climate Control Auto system to automatically adjust humidity in response to changing ambient conditions throughout the night

Eliminates the traditional trade-off between rainout prevention and humidity delivery — full humidity is maintained even as room temperatures drop

Temperature at the mask stays at your preferred setting regardless of changes in room temperature or ambient humidity

Slim, flexible design for increased sleeping comfort and reduced mask drag

Less prone to catching in bedding than standard CPAP tubing

Replace every 3 to 6 months as part of your regular CPAP supply schedule

Ideal for

ResMed AirSense 10 users who want the full benefit of the machine's Climate Control automatic humidification system

Patients who experience rainout, condensation, gurgling sounds, or water in their tubing during therapy

Those who sleep in rooms where the temperature drops during the night, causing condensation in standard tubing

CPAP users who want consistent, comfortable humidification throughout the night without manual adjustment

Patients who find standard tubing bulky, stiff, or prone to catching in bedding

AirSense 10 users replacing aged or worn tubing as part of their regular CPAP supply refresh

Tips and Resources

Climate Control Auto: Enable Climate Control Auto on your AirSense 10 to get the full benefit of the ClimateLineAir's heated coil and mask temperature sensor. In this mode the machine continuously monitors conditions and adjusts humidity output automatically, keeping your preferred temperature and humidity level constant throughout the night without any manual intervention.

Set and forget: Once Climate Control Auto is configured to your preferred temperature setting, no further manual adjustment is needed. The mask-end sensor ensures the temperature you feel at the mask stays consistent regardless of how much the room temperature changes overnight.

Eliminating rainout: If you currently experience rainout with standard tubing, switching to the ClimateLineAir with Climate Control Auto enabled will resolve this in virtually all cases. The heated coil prevents the air inside the tube from cooling to the point where condensation forms, so full humidity can be delivered without producing water in the tube or at the mask.

Replacement schedule: Replace your ClimateLineAir tube every 3 to 6 months. Over time the tube material stiffens, the internal heated coil can degrade, and the mask temperature sensor accuracy may diminish — all of which reduce the consistency of humidification and comfort.

Cleaning: Clean the ClimateLineAir 3 to 4 times per week with warm water and mild, unscented soap. Do not submerge the heated connectors at either end of the tube. Hang to air dry away from direct sunlight before reconnecting to your machine and mask.

AirSense 10 only: The ClimateLineAir is designed exclusively for the AirSense 10 series. It is not compatible with the AirSense 11. If you use an AirSense 11, see the ClimateLineAir 11 listing separately.

Care and Cleaning

Clean the ClimateLineAir tube 3 to 4 times per week with warm water and mild, unscented soap. Rinse thoroughly and hang to air dry away from direct sunlight. Do not submerge the heated connectors at either end of the tube in water. Do not use alcohol-based cleaners or harsh chemical cleaning agents on the tube or connectors.

Replace the ClimateLineAir every 3 to 6 months as part of your regular CPAP supply schedule.

FAQs

Q: How is the ClimateLineAir different from a standard CPAP tube?
A: A standard CPAP tube delivers therapy air at an uncontrolled temperature, which means the air cools as it travels through the tube — particularly in rooms where the temperature drops during the night. This causes two problems: rainout from condensation inside the tube, and a need to reduce humidity output to prevent that rainout. The ClimateLineAir solves both problems with an internal heated coil that keeps the air warm along the full length of the tube, and a mask-end temperature sensor that feeds real-time data to the AirSense 10's Climate Control system for automatic adjustment throughout the night.

Q: What is rainout and how does the ClimateLineAir eliminate it?
A: Rainout is the condensation that forms inside CPAP tubing when warm humidified air meets a cooler tube surface, causing moisture to condense into water droplets. This produces gurgling sounds, water in the mask, or bursts of water during therapy. The ClimateLineAir's internal heated coil keeps the tube at a consistent warm temperature so the humidified air never encounters a cool surface where condensation can form — eliminating rainout entirely without reducing humidity delivery.

Q: What is the advantage of the mask-end temperature sensor?
A: Standard heated tubes measure temperature at the machine end of the tube rather than at the mask. This means the temperature the patient actually feels can vary from the target setting, particularly as room conditions change. The ClimateLineAir measures temperature directly at the mask end — the point of actual delivery — so the temperature you feel remains at your preferred setting regardless of ambient changes during the night. This is what makes it a true set-and-forget system.

Q: Do I need to use Climate Control Auto for the ClimateLineAir to work?
A: No. The ClimateLineAir functions as a heated tube regardless of whether Climate Control Auto is enabled. However enabling Climate Control Auto on your AirSense 10 allows the machine to use the tube's sensor data to automatically optimise humidity and temperature throughout the night without any manual adjustment. We recommend enabling this setting for the full benefit of the heated tube.

Q: Is the ClimateLineAir compatible with the AirSense 11?
A: No. The ClimateLineAir is designed exclusively for the AirSense 10 series and is not compatible with the AirSense 11, AirMini, or S9 series. If you use an AirSense 11, please see the ClimateLineAir 11 listing separately. Contact CPAP Machines Canada to confirm the correct heated tube for your specific machine.

Q: How do I clean the ClimateLineAir?
A: Clean the tube 3 to 4 times per week with warm water and mild, unscented soap. Rinse thoroughly and hang to air dry away from direct sunlight. Do not submerge the heated connectors at either end of the tube in water and do not use alcohol-based or harsh chemical cleaners. Allow the tube to dry fully before reconnecting to your machine and mask.

Q: How often should I replace the ClimateLineAir?
A: Replace the ClimateLineAir every 3 to 6 months as part of your regular CPAP supply schedule. Over time the tube material stiffens, the internal heated coil degrades, and the mask-end sensor accuracy diminishes — reducing humidification consistency, rainout protection, and sleeping comfort.
